Cowgirl Tennis Looking to Extend Win Streak

“We know that we are going to have a very tough match this weekend,” said head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski. “We were able to gain some confidence after our success at our last tournament and hopefully we can use that this weekend.”
The Cowgirls (3-5, 0-2) are riding a two-match win streak after second and third round victories at the Lady Rebel Classic in Las Vegas over the previous weekend.
OSU last defeated Texas A&M (4-8, 0-1) in the Big 12 Tournament Championship match in 2003. The Aggies won last year's meeting in Stillwater, 7-0.
“Texas A&M is one of the conference's top programs,” Lubicz-Majewski said. “We know that we are going to have to play our best match in order to compete. Our girls are going to try their hardest and we hope to come home with the victory.”
