Cowgirls Fall in Heartbreaker, 4-3

The Cowgirls (0-2) were led by sophomore Jennifer Poskitt, who picked up a victory at the number six singles spot. Poskitt teamed with fellow sophomore Lauren Simmons to pick up the Cowgirls lone doubles victory, an 8-1 decision at the No. 3 position.

The Cowgirls and Lady Razorbacks split the singles bouts in finishing out the day's action.

The final team point for the Cowgirls came at the No. 6 position where Poskitt came from behind to defeat Melissa Cornett, 5-7, 7-6, 7-6.
“There are several positive things that we have found out of this match and we know what we need to work on,” Lubicz-Majewski said. “We will continue to improve and will hopefully perform even better than we did today.”
OSU will return to action on February 12 when they take on Texas Arlington at the UTA Tennis Facility in
