Cowgirl Netters Take on Arkansas

Oklahoma State's women's tennis team will attempt to pick up its first victory of the season when they face Arkansas at the Michael D. Case Tennis Center in Tulsa on Sunday at 3:30 p.m.

The Cowgirls (0-1) are coming off of a 4-1 defeat against No. 44 SMU last weekend.

OSU will feature freshman Iryna Tkachenko at the No. 1 singles spot. In her first match of her college career, Tkachenko upset No. 70 Jenny Langer in straight sets.

No. 65 Arkansas (3-0) is coming off of a 7-0 victory against St. Louis University. The Lady Razorbacks top performer is No. 118 Maryori Franco who competes primarily at the second singles position.

The Cowgirls are haven't lost a match against their Southeastern Conference foes, posting a 10-0 all-time series record.
