Kitty Story is entering her fourth year with the OSU Equestrian program this year as a unit assistant, Catherine (Kitty) Story brings with her an extensive background in the equine industry. A graduate of the Lamar Community College Horse Training and Management Program, Story participated on Lamar's horse judging team, placing third at the All-American Quarter Horse Congress. While participating on Lamar's Show Team, Story won numerous classes in Hunter Under Saddle on the AQHA Show Circuit. She later taught Hunt Seat Equitation at LCC.
Forming Story Quarter Horses in 1987, she raised and showed many top quarter horses. Horses bred by Story Quarter Horses and exhibited by Catherine earned four AQHA Superiors at halter, 16 ROM's, six AQHA World Show Qualifiers, three national top 10 finishers and numerous futurity and cirucuit championships.
Story has two children, Ryan (23), and Tyler (18), who is a senior at Perkins-Tyron High School and is a starting senior for the basketball team.
