2004: Started 39 contests and played in 50 ... had a .215 batting average ... had one home run, five runs batted in and 16 runs scored ... second on the squad in stolen bases, going 12-for-13 ... made seven errors in 101 chances, a .931 fielding percentage ... named to the North Texas Betlin Round-Up all-tournament team ... earned second-team Academic All-Big 12 accolades.
2003: Played in 41 games, earning the start seven times ... had a .250 batting average, going 6-for-24 at the plate ... had one double, two home runs, 12 runs scored and two runs batted in ... led the team in stolen bases, going 9-for-11.
Prep: Lettered four years at Velma-Alma High School and served as team captain for two years ... had three home runs, 41 runs batted in and a .564 batting average ... also had 18 stolen bases ... earned all-state honors and was a three-time all-area honoree ... tabbed all-area player of the year, Velma-Alma MVP and Velma-Alma Offensive Player of the Year in 2001 ... led her team to the state tournament all four years, finishing as state runner-up three times ... In addition to softball, earned four letters in basketball and two in track ... tabbed the Class 2A Basketball State Tournament MVP in 2001 and 2002 while leading her team to back-to-back titles ... also earned all-state honors in track ... led Velma-Alma to the Class A track state championship.
Played for the Oklahoma Twisters summer fastpitch team out of Norman, Okla., and claimed additional titles with the squad ... Twisters were the 2001 18 & Under AAU National Champions and the 2001 AFA National Champions ...squad was an 18 & Under Gold National Qualifier in 2002.
