Softball Scrimmage Set For Tuesday

Oklahoma State's softball team will kick off the spring season at 3 p.m. on Tuesday, hosting Northeastern Oklahoma for a scrimmage at Cowgirl Stadium.

OSU returns 12 letterwinners, including All-Big 12 honorees Courtney Totte, Megan Carey and Jessica Hoppock. The Cowgirls are coming off a 27-28 record and sixth-place finish in the Big 12 regular season race last spring. During the fall season, seven newcomers joined the Cowgirls and the team cruised to a perfect 13-0 finish.

Tuesday's contest will be Oklahoma State's lone scrimmage before opening the regular season at the Pepsi Arizona Classic on Friday.
