Cowboy Cross Country Finishes Third at Stampede

The Cowboys finished third behind Arkansas and Harding University in the field of 22 teams. The Pokes finished with a score of 95, while Arkansas and Harding finished with scores 20 and 72 , respectively. The University of Oklahoma and Southwest Missouri State rounded out the top five.
Two Cowboys finished in the top 15. Redshirt freshman David Jankowski took 13th overall with a time of 25:04.39 and Sean McCabe, a junior, finished 15th with a time of 25:07.80. Also for the OSU, sophomore Tyler Campbell finished 22nd, Trey Vernon, who ran unattached, finished 23rd, and redshirt freshman Chris Stoves finished 44th.
Oklahoma State's next competition will be in Stillwater at the Cowboy Jamboree. The event will start at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 2nd.
