Softball Falls To Missouri, 4-3

Oklahoma State's softball team fell to Missouri, 4-3, in first-round Big 12 Tournament action at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City. Weather threatened but held off after a rocky start. The teams were forced from the field following brief, but heavy rainfall and then had to sit through a 25-minute lightning delay before finally taking the field.
The Cowgirls got on the board in the fourth after a leadoff triple from Courtney Totte. Jade Lindly kept OSU in the game with a RBI single but was called out at second after failing to tag the base. Lindly would have advanced to third on the play due to an error by

The Cowgirls fought in the bottom of the frame but came up one run short. White led off with a double and scored the winning run on a sacrifice fly from Kunkel.
Jessica Hoppock tossed the complete game for the Cowgirls, giving up four runs on 11 hits, four strikeouts and two walks.
