April Peck Wins Two National Titles at IHSA National Championships

Oklahoma State junior April Peck won two individual national titles at the IHSA National Championships in Murfreesboro, Tenn. on Friday. The Coweta, Okla., native won her first national championship in the Novice Western Horsemanship team competition. Just two classes later, Peck placed first in Individual Western Horsemanship, giving her two individual national titles this year. Heading into Saturday's action the Oklahoma State equestrian team is in a three-way tie for second-place place for the Western team national title. The Cowgirls were tied with Texas A&M and Blackhawk College. The University of Findlay is the overall leader. In the High Point Western Rider competition senior Kristin Dickerson is in second place. The competition features the top 21 western riders from around the country. Dickerson also placed sixth in the Team Reining competition. Seniors Crissy Meeks and Luann Ulrich have also competed for the Cowgirls. Meeks placed third in Open Western Horsemanship, while
