Junior Season: Posted a 15-9 composite singles record while primarily competing at the No. 3 position ... went 3-0 for the Cowgirls in the Big 12 Tournament at the No. 4 position ... clinched the Cowgirls second round match against rival Oklahoma in the Big 12 Tournament ... teamed with Linda Faltynkova to record a 13-9 record at the No. 1 doubles position ... teamed with Faltynkova to upset No. 16 Jessica Roland and Roberta Spencer of Texas A&M in the Big 12 Tournament Title match ... was named as a Preseason All-Big 12 Team member ... named to the Big 12 honorable mention postseason team ... named as a member of the Academic All-Big 12 second team.
2002 Fall Season: Posted a 1-4 record in singles play ... teamed with former Cowgirl Linda Faltynkova to post a 4-2 doubles record that included an upset over No. 4 Debbie Larocque and Maja Mlakar of Arizona ... with Faltynkova, claimed second place in doubles play at the Riviera All-American Tournament.
Sophomore Season: Primarily competed at the No. 4 singles position and posted a 10-8 record ... finished with a record of 1-2 at the third position ... teamed with Faltynkova to post a 17-5 doubles record in the first position ... the tandem lost to Lauren Barnikow and Erin Burdette of Stanford in the NCAA Women's Doubles Championship first round.
2001 Fall Season: Went 0-2 in singles play ... finished the season with a doubles record of 11-5 with Faltynkova ... won the doubles Consolation Championship at the Omni Hotels National Intercollegiate Indoor Championships ... represented Oklahoma State with Faltynkova as part of the World Team Tennis National Championship team.
Freshman Season: Finished with a 20-7 record at the No. 2 doubles position ... teamed with Faltynkova to win the Big 12 No. 2 Doubles Championship and post a perfect 26-0 record ... finished the season with a No. 5 ranking in doubles ... selected to the All-Big 12 Doubles Team ... named Central Region Freshman of the year.
2000 Fall Season: Went 7-3 during the fall ... won five consecutive matches at the ITA Central Regional ... advanced to the regional quarterfinals before falling to the tournament's eventual champion ... teamed with Faltynkova to post a 3-3 doubles record.
Before OSU: Was ranked No. 6 in the world in the under-16 age division ... held the top ranking in the 16-18 age division in Belarus ... was also ranked No. 1 in Poland in the under-14, under-16 and under-18 divisions ... won the Polish National Championship ... also competed in horseback riding while attending high school ... advanced to the second round at the Junior Wimbledon ... competed in the junior divisions of the French Open and Wimbeldon.

According to Coach: “Katya Kolodynska is an experienced player. She was a very good junior player who has played in some major junior tournaments (French Open and Wimbeldon). She is a former conference freshman of the year. There is no question that she is our most talented player. I trust her as a player and as a leader. I have no doubts about her talent and ability to do well for us.”
