Oklahoma State's women's tennis team opens the Big 12 Tournament against Nebraska at the Headington Family Tennis Center in Norman on Thursday.
The tenth seeded Cowgirls (7-14, 2-9) begin last year's tournament title defense in a rematch against No. 70 Nebraska (15-8, 5-6).
The Cornhuskers won the regular season meeting, 4-3 at the DeBois Tennis Center on April 24.
“Nebraska is a team that we feel confident we can compete with,” said head coach Julius Lubicz-Majewski. “We are going to go out and try our hardest to pick up the victory for our school.”
The contest is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. The winner of the match advances to face second seeded Texas A&M on Friday.
