Cowgirl Equestrian Heads to California

Oklahoma State's equestrian team heads to Fresno, Calif., for the Fresno State Invitational this Saturday, March 13. The show will be the final preparation for the Cowgirls as they head into the postseason.

OSU's Western team is fresh off a weekend where they earned the automatic berth to the national championships after finishing the season as the overall leader in the region. The team finished the final three shows with a third-place finish the first day and a pair of seconds the final day.

The Cowgirls will send their Western and Hunter Seat team to compete in the invitational. Last year, the team was the Reserve Team Champion after the Western team won their division and the Hunter Seat team placed fourth.

Postseason action for the Cowgirls begins March 28 when they travel to Texas A&M to compete in the Regional Championships.
