Cowgirl Softball Prepares For Season-Opening Tournament

On day one of the event, the Cowgirls square off against UC Santa Barbara at 1 p.m. and wrap up the day against host school, San Diego State, at 5 p.m.
Saturday, the Cowgirls take on Mississippi State at 1 p.m. and face off against San Diego State for the second time at 5 p.m.
The tournament concludes at 11 a.m. on Sunday with the Cowgirls facing UC Santa Barbara for a rematch.
The Cowgirls return 10 letterwinners and five starters from last year's NCAA Regional qualifying squad. Oklahoma State finished the 2003 season with a 39-15 record and earned a trip to postseason play for the first time in five years.
The Cowgirls are led by Margaret Rebenar, who is entering her third season as head coach at Oklahoma State. Other members of the coaching staff are associate head coach Kim Ward and assistant coach Shannon Sullivan.
