Cowgirl Softball Announces Fall Recruiting Class

A native of Durant, Okla., Phillips was a three-time all-area honoree and an all-state and all-region selection her senior season. Phillips led her high school team in batting average during her sophomore, junior and senior campaigns, hitting .380 during her final season at Durant.
“Katie is a quick utility player that can fit into just about any spot on the field,” commented Rebenar. “She is very aggressive on the bases and has a good head for the game.”
Watson, a product of Missouri City, Texas, was an all-state and all-district selection in 2004. She also helped Elkins High School to it first-ever state title last spring and earned all-tournament honors in the outfield.
“Shallan will bring additional power to our hitting rotation,” stated Rebenar. “She is a solid defensive player in the outfield and we are excited about what she brings to the table.”
