Spring 2003: Alliya played in 24 games, starting 13 times for the Cowgirls. She had a .250 batting average and four of her 11 hits went for extra bases. Alliya had seven runs batted in, two doubles and two home runs. She was also perfect from the field in 49 chances.
Fall 2002: Alliya started five games at first base and played in seven. She batted .353, going 6-for-17 at the plate. Alliya had two doubles, two runs batted in and five runs scored. She also had three walks and was perfect from the field in 31 chances.
at Polomar: Alliya lettered two years at Palomar Junior College under coach Mark Eldridge. She had 37 runs batted in and a .397 batting average during her sophomore season while earning honorable mention All-Pacific Coast Conference honors. She led her team to the conference championship and to the Southern California Championship in 2002.
Prep: Alliya lettered four years at Sonora High School and served as team captain one year. During her senior season, she batted .375 with two home runs. She was a four-time scholar athlete honoree and a two-time selection for the best defensive player of her team. She also earned three letters in basketball and was tabbed all-defensive in 2000.
Personally: Born July 19, 1982, Alliya is the daughter of Craig and Dorriya Anderson and has a brother, Otis (23). Alliya is majoring in public relations at Oklahoma State. She enjoys photography, camping and hiking in her spare time.
