Cowgirl Softball Picked Seventh In Preseason Coaches Poll

Oklahoma edged Nebraska to win the league title with 78 points, including six first place votes. The Huskers came in second with 75 total points and four first place selections. Texas A&M (62), Texas (57), Missouri (45) and Baylor (44) round out the top six.
Oklahoma State was picked seventh with 34 points followed by Kansas, Iowa State and Texas Tech to round out the poll.
The Cowgirls open the season on Feb. 4, hosting Seminole JC at 2 p.m. Three more scrimmages are on tap before OSU kicks off the regular season at the San Diego State Tournament Feb. 13-15.
