Postgame Notes
Oklahoma State has now won nine straight home openers and 29 of the past 35. The Cowboys all-time record in home openers is 68-28-5.
OSU's 594 yards of total offense was the most since tallying 605 vs. Southwestern Louisiana on Nov. 14, 1998.
With 152 receiving yards today, Rashaun Woods moved past Hart Lee Dykes (3,172) into first place on OSU's career yards list with 3,246. He also went over the 100-yard receiving mark for the 15th time in his career and sixth time in his last seven contests.
Rashaun Woods' 51-yard reception in the first quarter was his longest of the season. It also marked the 33rd straight game he has caught at least two passes. His streak of six consecutive games with a touchdown reception ended tonight.  Tatum Bell's 215 yards rushing is a new single-game career best (previous high was 182 vs. Nebraska in 2002). He is the first OSU tailback to go over 200 yards rushing in a game since Jamaal Fobbs rushed for 217 yards vs. Southwestern Louisiana in 1997.
Bell's three touchdown runs tied a single game career high set two times last season (Texas A&M, Baylor). He went over the 100-yard mark for the eighth time in his career and the fourth time in his last five contests. In addition, he moved up two spots to eighth on OSU's all-time rushers list with 2,425 yards.
Gabe Lindsay's 55-yard punt return for a touchdown in the second quarter, was the second of his career (first was vs. Texas A&M in 2000), and second longest return of his career (57-yarder in 2000).
Fullback Shawn Willis' two-yard touchdown run in the first quarter was on his first career rush. He added another score with a 13-yard rush in the second quarter.
With 11 points today, Luke Phillips moved into 11th place on OSU's career scoring list with 172 points.
OSU moved to 7-1 all-time vs. Wyoming.
Josh Fields' streak of 16 consecutive games with a touchdown pass ended tonight.

Postgame Quotes
Oklahoma State Head Coach Les Miles
On the new stadium name
'I didn't see the festivities at halftime, but I think that Boone Pickens Stadium is a great name. Doesn't it have just a little bit of pizazz to it? I hope there are a lot of (OSU) victories that take place under that name.'
On the game
'Wyoming is a good football team. They are better than one might have thought coming in. With those big, tall receivers and that tall quarterback, and their ability to throw the football, they present some very specific problems to us. They did a good job coaching.'
'We had the opportunity to get on top of them early and play good solid football for a while. We got a little sloppy both on the defensive side of the football and on special teams that allowed them to try to get back in the game late. All in all it was a victory and steady improvement, and that counts one and we are still counting.'
On Tatum Bell's 200 yards
'Tatum Bell had a big day. He passes Bob Fenimore on the all-time rushing list, which is a very significant name around here. I think the offensive line deserves a lot of the credit for some of those yards. They provided some big, gaping holes, but there was some good, hard running as well.
On Rashaun Woods
'Rashaun Woods' nine catches for just under 200 yards makes him the all-time leading receiver. Now that he's done that, he can concentrate on finishing the season as well as he can, getting those milestones behind him.'
On the game plan
'The strategic plan was very similar to the Nebraska plan. There are some comparisons, we just had a little better execution. This game, obviously, got us back on track. We made some big plays early and kind of distanced ourselves from them.'
On the pressure on Bramlet
'If you line up and throw the football against us, then you're going to have speed guys that can go by your tackles and get to the quarterback. I think that was pretty evident today. It looked to me that some of our young guys will play better and better as time goes on.'
On the new guys
'Victor DeGrate played extremely well at middle linebacker. Marque Fountain played well except for a nice penalty that he'll have to learn about.'
'Shawn Willis had some nice runs. We will have to see how his blocking was, but it is a work in progress. It will be nice to see him come alive and be a force there along with Tim Burrough.'
Wide Receiver Gabe Lindsay
On importance of the game
'Coming off that loss to Nebraska we knew we had to come out and get a victory. That was our goal this week, to win and be 1-1.'
On the improvement of the offense
'On the offensive side we struggled last week but we know what we are capable of and that is what we came out and did. We moved the ball and scored some points. '
On punt return for touchdown
'On special teams, Coach Deforest always says that someone is going to score. That's what we try to do and it just so happened to be me tonight. Special teams are an important part of the game. They can make you or break you and the return gave us a lot of momentum.'
Wide Receiver Rashaun Woods
On catch across the middle
'It is big for a receiver to go across the middle because you know you are going to get hit and try catch the ball anyway. I challenge myself to do that. Coach feels like I am becoming a well rounded receiver and that is just the next step.'
On breaking Hart Lee Dykes record
'Records are made to be broken. Someone is going to come along and break mine. I am glad I got it. Who wouldn't be? I didn't come back to break records, I want to help my team win championships and I want to stay true to that. I am thankful to be a part of OSU football.'
On Tatum Bell's night
'We are a balanced offense and we are at our best when our running game is clicking. One feeds off another. When Tatum runs like that, our passing game opens up.'
Defensive End Antonio Smith
On Greg Richmond
'What can I say about Greg (Richmond)? He is a beast. He plays most of the reps and really gets after the ball.'
OSU Locker Room
Darrent Williams
On the importance of coming out strong
'It was extremely important for our confidence. We knew we were a better team than Wyoming, and we knew had to to come out and play like we did.'
On kickoff return
'I wasn't on defense on the previous play so I was well rested. I was trying to make Coach (Miles) happy and take it to the house. I almost made it. One or two more blocks I would have though.'
D'Juan Woods
On importance of winning the game
'We wanted to let everybody know we are a good football team, and we can play with the best.'
Wyoming Head Coach Joe Glenn
On positives he takes from the game
'One thing I felt good about was running the ball at them. If you can run at a team and average five or six yards per carry like we did, there's hope. Maybe we didn't get their ÂA' game in the second half, but they got ours. Our kids went out and played hard, and there's some solace in the fact that we came back. We made a good effort in the second half. No matter what the score was, we wanted to be a better football team in the second half and I think we did that.'
On building on this game
'One half doesn't make the season, sure we can build off this. I'm sure they got a little confidence in what we can do throwing the ball and running the ball. That's probably the thing I feel best about the whole game. I don't think they really rocked us, we ran the ball pretty darn good. The fact that we ran the ball well against a Big 12 team, that's pretty successful to me.'
On Oklahoma State
'They have a lot of real good athletes. Their good players did well. Fields, their defensive ends. Certainly Woods was everything he was billed to be, and Bell has beau coups of speed. They all did what they were supposed to do, and they were a little bit too much for us to be honest with you.'
Opposing Players
Quarterback Casey Bramlet
On the defensive pressure
'They brought it. They brought everything. They did a great job in game planning. We didn't pick the blitz up and we got out of sync in the first half. They brought the blitz and we didn't handle it well. Oklahoma State has got a great defense and we have got to learn to adjust.'
On teams keying on the run
'We have got to know it is coming. We know that and now we have to learn how to stop it. We have to keep working and keep fixing things until we get it right. We have got to work hard. We played better in the second half. You don't want any moral victories, but we played better in the second half.'
On the second half
'We started to throw the ball better in the second half. Oklahoma State didn't blitz as much and we were able to beat some double teams. We didn't give up, that was the big thing. We kept on fighting.'
Wide Receiver Jovon Bouknight
On the first half
'I think Oklahoma State watched a lot of film on our last game. They came with the heat, much like we expected. We didn't pick it up well and we have to go back to the drawing boards on that.'
On Rashaun Woods
'I saw some amazing things from him, some catches and blocks. He does a lot of stuff that I can learn from.'
Wide Receiver Malcom Floyd
On Rashaun Woods
'His routes look nice. He had a lot of yards, I'm not sure how many, but I know that he caught a lot of balls.'
