Cowgirl Softball Opens Fall Season Tuesday

Oklahoma State's softball team will open the fall portion of its 2003-04 schedule on Tuesday as the Cowgirls host Carl Albert State College beginning at 3 p.m.

The Cowgirls posted a 39-15 record and finished second in the regular season Big 12 race last year en route to earning a berth in the NCAA Regional for the first time since 1998.

OSU continues the fall season on Saturday, hosting the Fall Classic. It will be an all-day event with Oklahoma State and Navarro Junior College kicking things off at 9 a.m. Also participating in the event are Seminole Junior College and Eastern Junior College.
