Cowgirl Softball Releases 2003-04 Schedule

Oklahoma State was ranked 14th in the final 2003 USA Today/NFCA poll and will face six opponents that finished in the Top 25. Four of those, Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma and Cal State Fullerton, finished with a Top 10 ranking.
This fall the Cowgirls play host to Carl Albert, Connors State and Northern Oklahoma in scrimmages. In addition they will host a pair of tournaments on Saturday, Sept. 13 and Saturday, Sept. 20.
The final event will be a three-day tournament at Hall of Fame Stadium in Oklahoma City Sept. 26-28.
The Cowgirls have four tune-up games scheduled for the spring before opening the regular season Feb. 13-15 at the San Diego State Tournament.
Four additional tournaments are on tap, the North Texas Betlin Round-Up, University of Arizona Tournament, Cal State Fullerton Worth Invitational and Florida Atlantic Tournament.
Oklahoma State's regular season home opener is scheduled for Feb. 17 against OCU. Also dotting the home non-conference slate are North Carolina, Panhandle State, North Texas and UMKC.
Other non-conference battles are the annual home-and-home series with Wichita State and a trip to Tulsa.
Big 12 conference play begins March 27-28 as Nebraska comes to Stillwater for a two-game series.
Tulsa and Arkansas visit Cowgirl Stadium for the annual Border War on March 31 and the final non-conference tilts of the year.
League play takes center stage for the remainder of the season as the Cowgirls host Oklahoma, Iowa State, Texas A&M and Baylor in conference action.
On the road portion of its schedule, OSU will face Big 12 foes MIssouri, Texas Tech, Kansas, Texas and Oklahoma.
At the conclusion of the regular season, Oklahoma State will join the rest of the Big 12 field in Oklahoma City May 13-16 for the conference tournament at Hall of Fame Stadium. NCAA Regionals will be held May
