1. To Enter: NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. To enter the Win Tickets to K-State Contest via the Internet go to: http://www.okstate.com, click on the Win Tickets to K-State box, and answer the questions on the questionnaire page. Alternatively, print your name, address, e-mail address (if any), and daytime telephone number on a 3" X 5" piece of paper. Insert the completed entry into an envelope and send it to Oklahoma State University Athletics, 1224 North Boomer Road, Stillwater, OK 74078, 'ATTN: Okstate.com Win Tickets Contest. No mechanically reproduced, illegible, incomplete, forged or altered entries will be accepted; limit one entry per person. Multiple entries submitted by a single person, whether via write-in or Internet, are void. The Contest will begin on September 26, 2003. In order to be a valid entry, OSU Athletics must have received an entry prior to 11:59 p.m. E.T. on October 6, 2003 (the 'Entry Period'). ALL ENTRIES, WHETHER SUBMITTED BY POSTCARD OR BY ONLINE REGISTRATION, MUST BE RECEIVED DURING THE ENTRY PERIOD IN ORDER TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THE CONTEST. 'Valid Entries' are entries which were received during the Entry Period, and, if submitted online, contain responses to all of the questions on the questionnaire page.
2. Conditions of Entry: Valid Entries must be submitted via either the write-in or online methods as described above. Incomplete entries are void. By entering, entrants acknowledge compliance with these Official Rules, including all eligibility requirements. Online entries will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. "Authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. All entries become the property of OSU Athletics. Neither OSU Athletics, its respective affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, advertising and promotion agencies, or any telephone network or service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software, inability to access any Web site or online service, or any other error or malfunction or late, lost, postage due, illegible or misdirected entries. Entry materials that have been tampered with or altered are void. No copies, facsimiles or reproductions of official entry forms will be accepted.
3. Selection of Winners: Between October 6 and October 8, 2003, OSU Athletics will determine which entries are Valid Entries and will randomly draw the winner from all of the Valid Entries. OSU Athletics will be the sole judge of which entries are Valid Entries, and its decision and drawing will be final. Each winner will be notified by e-mail, telephone and/or U.S. mail using the information provided on such winner's entry on or about October 8, 2003. OSU Athletics is not responsible for misdirected or corrupted e-mail addresses that prohibit a winner from entering the Contest, or OSU Athletics from identifying or contacting a winner. The winner will be given three (3) business days from the first day of receipt of notification to respond to claim the prize. A non-response by the winner or non-receipt of notification response after the specified three (3) business days will be considered winner's forfeiture of prize and an alternate winner may be selected from the pool of eligible entries. If an entrant is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may also be selected from the pool of eligible entries. Unless prohibited by law, to receive the prize, each winner must provide his or her social security number and may be asked to sign an Affidavit of Eligibility and Publicity/Liability Release ('Affidavit'). OSU Athletics is not responsible for unsuccessful efforts to notify winners. Odds of winning depend upon the number of Valid Entries received.
4. Prize: One grand prize shall be awarded to the grand prize winner. The grand prize is two tickets to the Oklahoma State football game versus Kansas State. The game date is October 11, 2003. The retail value of this Contest is $90. OSU Athletics reserves the right to substitute the prize with a similar prize of equal or greater value or with the equivalent cash value. Prizes will be issued to the winner when the winner's prize eligibility and address have been confirmed. The winner may not transfer or substitute the prize. Federal, state and local taxes, charges and incidental costs, if any, are the sole responsibility of prize winner.
5. Eligibility: The Contest is open only to United States residents who are at least 18 years of age at the time of contest entry. This offer is void where prohibited or restricted by law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. By entering onto and participating in this Contest, each entrant accepts the conditions stated in these Official Rules, agrees to be bound by the decisions of the judges and warrants that s/he is eligible to participate in this Contest. By accepting a prize, each winner agrees to release OSU Athletics and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising agencies, promotion agencies, franchises, fulfillment companies, dealers, retailers, present and former employees, directors, shareholders and agents (collectively, 'Affiliates'), from and against any and all claims, demands, losses and liabilities of any nature whatsoever, which winner may now or hereafter be entitled to assert, including but not limited to, any death, injury, loss of enjoyment or other harm or loss of any nature whatsoever caused or contributed to by any of the prizes awarded in the Contest and/or in connection with the awarding, receipt and use or misuse of prize or participation in any prize-related activities, and/or claims based on publicity rights, defamation or invasion of privacy. Each winner agrees that the Contest prize consists solely of the prize described above. No further expenses are included. Each winner also agrees that OSU Athletics and its Affiliates shall have, without further obligation, the right to use winner's name, likeness, photograph and prize information for promotional purposes without further compensation. By participating in this Contest, entrants agree that Oklahoma courts shall have jurisdiction over any dispute or litigation arising from or relating to this Contest and that venue shall be only in Oklahoma. Employees of OSU Athletics, affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies and their immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each are not eligible. Full-time employees of the affiliated alumni association are not eligible. OSU Athletics reserves the right in its sole discretion to cancel or suspend this Contest should viruses, bugs or other causes beyond the control of OSU Athletics corrupt the administration, security or proper play of the Contest.
6. Winner: The name of the winner will appear on http://www.okstate.com after October 8, 2003. To obtain the name of the winner, please send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: OSU Athletics, 1224 North Boomer Road, Stillwater, OK 74078 ATTN: Okstate.com Win Tickets Contest. Requests must be received in writing before October 6, 2003.
7. Okstate.com Privacy Policy: OSU Athletics shares your concerns about the privacy of your personal information. Entrants should click here to read Okstate.com's privacy policy http://www.okstate.com/TermsAndConditions.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=200. By entering this Contest, entrants may receive marketing materials, communications and other materials from OSU Athletics and affiliated or other companies whose products and services OSU Athletics feels might interest entrants at a future date. An entrant not interested in receiving this material should go to http://www.okstate.com/CreateTicket.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=200&KEY= and follow the instructions to notify OSU Athletics that he or she does not desire to receive such materials.
8. Interpretation of the terms and conditions of this Contest shall be governed by Oklahoma law. These rules are subject to amendment by OSU Athletics at any time and at its sole discretion.
