Cowgirls Shut Out Northern Oklahoma College 8-0

Jessica Hoppock was the starting pitcher for the Cowgirls and pitched five hitless innings before giving way to Kristen Neil and Randi Cook to close out the game. Neil went three innings and allowed two hits and no runs. Cook pitched the last four innings to complete the shutout.
The Cowgirls struck first in the bottom of the second with a bases loaded single by Lacy Darity that scored Alliya Anderson. Shianne Cruce came home to score on a throwing error by the Lady Mavs and the score was 2-0. Stephanie Nicholson added a sacrifice fly and Lauren Kitchens and Courtney Totte added RBI singles in the frame.
Shianne Cruce slapped an RBI triple down the line in the third and Erika Ennis follwed with an RBI singlefor a 7-0 to make it 7-0.
Lacy Darity added a solo home run in the seventh inning.
Darity went 2-for-3 with a homerun and two RBIs, while Sianne Cruce went 2-for-2 with a triple and an RBI.
