Oklahoma State's men's cross country team continued its season Saturday by placing seventh at the 15th annual Missouri Southern Stampede hosted by Missouri Southern State University.
The Cowboys were led for the second meet in a row by sophomore Marcus Hershberger. The Clarksburg, Md., native finished the 8K course in 25:44, good for a 29th-place finish. Hershberger was followed by a pair of redshirt freshmen, Tyler Campbell and Ryan Ripley, finishing 44th and 47th respectively, and a true freshman, James Wanjiku, in 49th. Oklahoma State will take two weeks off before hosting the 67th annual Cowboy Jamboree October 4.
