Cowgirls Advance in Doubles Play at Second Day of Competition

Oklahoma State's senior combo of Katia Kolodynska and transfer Jana Karaskova advanced to the third round of doubles competition after a strong performance at the Lady Razorback Invitational Saturday evening.

After receiving a first-round bye, the duo dominated Southwest Missouri State's Mali Gakovic and Laura Alvarez, 8-1.

Also competing for the Cowgirls, were junior Ines Furtmayr and sophomore Zana Masnic. The duo was defeated in round one by Marta Rubina and Maria Amato of SMS, 8-4.

Doubles and singles competition will continue Sunday morning at the University of Arkansas Varsity Courts.
