Tennis Teams Honored

STILLWATER, Okla. Â Oklahoma State's men's and women's tennis teams were honored as ITA All-Academic teams for the second consecutive year.
The Cowboys were one of 24 teams honored nationally and one of just two teams honored from the Big 12.
Jiri Jezek, a senior from Pribram, Czech Republic, was named an ITA Scholar Athlete after enjoying a successful campaign on the court and helped lead the Cowboys to a sweet 16 finish in the NCAA Tournament.
The Cowgirls were one of 72 teams honored as ITA All-Academic teams and one of four teams that earned that distinction in the Big 12.
Senior Lynda Faltynkova and sophomore Ines Furtmayr were named ITA Academic Scholar Athletes. Faltynkova, a Uhersky Brod, Czech Republic native, and Furtmayr, an Uffing, Germany native, helped lead the Cowgirls to a Big 12 Tournament Championship in the spring.
