Oklahoma State softball announced the signing of Kristen Neil to a national letter of intent. Neil is the eighth newcomer and second pitcher to join the Cowgirls for the upcoming season.
A native of San Jose, Calif., Neil will enter as a sophomore after one year at The Master's College under coach Randy Clark.
"Kristen will add significant depth to our pitching staff, commented head coach Margaret Rebenar. ÂShe brings experience to a young but talented staff and we are excited to have her at Oklahoma State.Â
On the collegiate level, Neil threw two perfect games and posted a 17-9 record. She finished with a 1.61 ERA and 114 strikeouts. At Valley Christian High School, she posted a 0.46 earned run average her senior year and fanned 280 batters en route to earning all-state honors.
