Men's Basketball Defeats Jackson State

STILLWATER, Okla.- Brett Robisch and Adrian Peterson had double-doubles Saturday and Oklahoma State survived shaky foul shooting in the final minute to beat Jackson State, 60-58.
The victory left Oklahoma State 8-0 and stretched the Cowboys' nonconference home winning streak to 77 games.
Michael Hall scored 27 for Jackson State (3-6), 25 of them in the second half when he almost single-handedly kept the Tigers in the game.
Robisch finished with 16 points and 13 rebounds; Peterson had 16 points and 10 rebounds.
Oklahoma State, playing after a 10-day break for final exams, shot just 33 percent and committed 18 turnovers. The Cowboys outscored Jackson State 24-7 from the foul line, although their foul shooting nearly cost them.
Robisch's tip-in of a missed free throw gave the Cowboys a 59-52 lead with under a minute to play. Then Trent Pulliam made a 3-pointer to get the Tigers within 59-55.
Robisch missed two free throws with :21 remaining, and after a Tiger turnover Peterson made just one of two from the line for a 60-55 lead.
With 2.7 seconds remaining, Hall was fouled on a 3-point try and he made all three foul shots to make it 60-58. Doug Gottlieb them missed two free throws with 1.5 remaining, but Jackson State wasn't able to get off a final shot.
