Agatha Dean Adams has worked with student-athletes since 1989 and has been at OSU since 1985. Mrs. Adams taught high school in Okmulgee, Oklahoma for five years before coming to OSU. She earned her Master's Degree in Curriculum Administration and Instruction from Oklahoma State University and her Bachelor's Degree in Social Science Education from Langston University. She has four daughters and 6 grandchildren. Agatha is married to Oscar J. Adams Sr. She enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, gardening and reading. Her responsibilities include:
- Sports counselor for womens basketball, equestrian, womens golf, womens soccer, womens track and cross country, womens tennis, and mens track and cross country
- Coordinates the admissions and enrollment process of all new student-athletes (international and domestic)
- Administers,with the assistance of the director, the over-all budget for ASSA
- Assists with academic recruiting of student-athletes
- Coordinates priority enrollment program
- Coordinates textbook program
