Sloan Advances to Steeplechase Finals

Oklahoma State sophomore distance runner Chuck Sloan cleared one hurdle at the 1998 NCAA Men's Track & Field Championship.

The Cowboy participated in heat two of the 3,000m steeplechase semi-finals at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNY) on Wednesday evening June 3.

Sloan's fourth place 8:50.96 performance qualified him for the event finals on Friday June 5.
