Cowboys Look to Improve Times at Missouri Southern Invitational

Both Nathaniel Lane and Ren Carlsen qualified for the 10,000 meter national championships at the Stanford Invitational last weekend. This Friday, Lane will compete in the 800m, while Carlsen will run in the 1,500m.
Chuck Sloan is looking for a berth to repeat his All-American honors in the 3,000m steeplechase but will forgo the event this week. Instead, Sloan will compete in the 800m, 1,500m and 400m hurdles. He has not competed in the steeplechase since the OSU Duals on March 20.
Andrew Hennessy will try to qualify for nationals in the 800m. His 1:52.73 is just shy of provisionally qualifying for nationals.
The meet starts with field events at 1 p.m. at the Fred G. Hughes Stadium. Running events begin at 2:30 p.m. and continue with a rolling schedule.
