Cowboys Head to SMS Big Bear Invite, Stanford

Sloan is coming off a 3,000 meter steeplechase win at the OSU Duals last weekend. He will take a break from the steeplechase, which he won All-American honors in last year, to compete in the 400m hurdles, the 800m and the 1,500m in Springfield, Mo., at Plaster Stadium.
Hennessy, who won the 800m and the 1,500m at last weekend's event, will compete in the 800m again this week as well as the 3,000m steeplechase.
Freshman Cam Katchuck is set to run in the 200m, the 400m and the 800m. Senior Brian Young will join Hennessy and Katchuck in the 800m. Young and redshirt freshman Bruce Wright will compete in the 1,500m.
The Big Bear Invite starts with the women's pole vault at 10 a.m. the track events begin with the women's 5,000m run at 1:40 p.m.
Seniors Ren Carlsen, Gitogo Churu and Nathaniel Lane will head out to Palo Alto, Calif., to compete in the 10,000m at the Stanford Track and Field Invitational on Saturday at Cobb Track and Angell Field. The trio's event is scheduled to start at 8 p.m.
