Vasquez Provisionally Qualifies for NCAA Outdoor Track Championships

Junior Vasquez provisionally qualified for the NCAA Championships this weekend at the Cardinal Qualifier at Stanford.
Vasquez's time of 13:58.32 in the 5,000-meter run earned him second place and the qualification.
Also running at the Cardinal Qualifier were Jason Woolhouse, Bjorn Bergstrom and Daniel Voegeli. Woolhouse placed 10th in the 5K with a time of 14:12.53. Also in the 5K, Bergstrom placed 12th with a time of 14:14.67.
Daniel Voegeli's time of 3:45.76 earned him an eighth-place finish in the 1500-meter.
The Cowboys will travel to College Station, Texas this week for the Big 12 Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
