OSU Track Team Has Great Showing At Home Event

Oklahoma State's 4 x 100m men's relay team won the event with a time of 42.29, while Cowboy Christopher Kebenei also excelled in the 3000m by winning with a time of 8:26.11.
Alex Dzitrie had a great day in the field events for OSU. Dzitrie won the triple jump with a 13.63 meter jump and finished second in the long jump with a 7.40 jump, just .08 behind the event winner, Wayne Davis of Oral Roberts.
The Cowgirls' day was highlighted by dominating in the 1500m run. Jenny Framme won the event with a time of 4:34.03, while fellow Cowgirls Hanna Smedstad and Jessica de la Cerda wrapped up the second and fourth place finishes, respectively.
In the shorter distances, Oklahoma State powered by the competition with two first-place finishes and a second-place finish. Cowgirl Sherita Jackson won the 200m in 23.90, while Adrene Thompson won the 800m in 2:14.83. Tracyan Baker placed second in the 100m with a time of 11.79.
Cecily Carrier performed well in the field for the Cowgirls. Carrier placed second in the triple jump with a jump of 11.76 and a jump of 5.42 captured third in the long jump.
