In the 400 meter finals, Ed Narty ran a 49.49 to place third.
Alex Dzitrie placed third in the long jump with a leap of 6.93 meters, and teammate Gene Mensh placed fifth with a jump of 6.64 meters.
The Cowboys remained strong in the 400-meter relay with a fourth place finish with a time of 42.02.
In the 3,000 meter finals, the Cowboys placed four individuals. The highest placing was Chris Kenebei at 8:32.11 at 10th. Teammate Rene Carlson placed 12th with a time of 8:34.96.
