Nathan Simmons will make his sophomore debut for the Cowboy sprint squad in Tulsa.
Leading the Cowboys into the meet will be sophomore Chuck Sloan, senior Erik Framme and Juniors Brian Young, Rene Carlsen, Nathaniel Lane, Habel Churu.
In the middle distances Sloan holds the best Big 12 performance in the mile, run at the Wildcat Invitational two weeks ago in a time of 4:12.05. He also holds the second best 3,000m performance run last weekend at the Arkansas Invitational finishing second in a time of 8:15.43. Young currently holds the third best Big 12 performance in the 1,000m, run at the Wildcat Invitational in time of 2:28.52. Framme,Carlsen, Lane and Churu also find themselves in the top 15 performances with the sixth, ninth, 13th and 15th spots respectively.
The Cowgirls will be idle this week as they prepare for the Jayhawk Invitational in Lawrence, Kan. on Feb. 7.
