Lady Netters Look to End Conference Slide
April 08, 2003 | Cowgirl Tennis
The Cowgirls (6-3 overall, 1-3 Big 12) are coming off of a 5-2 loss at the hands of Kansas State. The last time that OSU won was a 4-0 decision against the Mavericks of Texas Arlington on March 2.
The No. 20 ranked duo of senior Linda Faltynkova and junior Katya Kolodynska will look to extend their two match winning streak at the No. 1 doubles position.
Last time out the combo notched the only doubles win for the Cowgirls, a 9-7 decision over Kansas State's Andrea Cooper and Jessica Simosa.
Sophomore Ewa Radzikowska (6-1) will look to extend a three match winning streak at the No. 4 singles position.
Senior Kate Vasylyeva and Kolodynska will be looking to get back on the winning track at the No. 2 and No. 3 singles positions. The Cowgirls will also be depending on solid play from the No. 5 and No. 6 singles positions.
OSU will be looking to avenge last year's 6-1 loss against the Jayhawks. The Cowgirls own a 21-10 all time record against their conference rival.
Play is scheduled to begin at 11:00 a.m.
