Cowgirl Tennis Second-Best In The Nation

The Cowgirl duo of Linda Faltynkova and Katia Kolodynska came up just short in the final round of the Riviera All-American tournament on Sunday afternoon.

After defeating Alexis Gordon and Julia Scaringe of Florida on Saturday, 9-7, Faltynkova and Kolodynska prepared to take on number one seeds, Sarah Riske and Aleke Tsoubanos of Vanderbilt.

Riske and Tsoubanos outlasted the Cowgirl duo in an evenly played final, 8-4, to claim the title at this year's Riviera All-American tournament.

Despite claiming second place, Faltynkova and Kolodynska received an automatic berth into the Indoor All-American Tournament in Dallas, Texas.
