Cross Country Teams to Compete in Big 12 Championships

All Big 12 Teams will be competing in the event. Colorado swept the Big 12 Championships last year winning both the men's and women's championship. Last year the Cowboys took second-place, while the Cowgirls placed fifth.
The Cowboys are coming off a fourth-place finish in the Chili Pepper on Oct. 16th. The Cowboys were led by sophomore Jason Woolhouse who placed fifth. The Cowboys were also assisted by juniors Ben Lake and Ben Sigle who finished 16th and 18th, respectively.
The Cowgirls placed-second at the Chili Pepper. The Cowgirls were led by fourth-place finisher Sirie Alfheim. The Cowgirls had their top five runners finish in the top 20.
The Cowboys and Cowgirls will be in action in two weeks at Carbondale, Ill., for the District V Championships.
