Cowboys to Host 66th Annual Cowboy Jamboree

The Pokes will compete against 23 other teams in the 8K race including Big 12 opponents Kansas, Oklahoma, and Texas Tech, as well as 2001 champion Arkansas and 2000 champion Abilene Christian University.
The Cowboys will have 11 runners competing Saturday, four of which placed in the top 25 at last year's meet, including Jason Woolhouse, Ben Sigle, Ben Lake and Derek Tate.
So far this year, the Cowboys have won the Spiked Shoe Invitational to open the season and placed 11th at the Missouri Southern Stampede on September 21. Jason Woolhouse also has one individual victory on the season, winning the first meet of the year.
After Saturday, the Cowboys will have a week to rest before heading to Fayetteville, Ark., to compete in the Chili Pepper on October 19.
