Cowboys Get Ready For Weekend Fiasco
April 04, 2003 | Cowboy Cross Country & Track
Oklahoma State's men's cross country team will compete in the Fordham Fiasco on Saturday in Bronx, N.Y.
The race, hosted by Fordham University, starts at 10:30 a.m.
"This is a meet where we can get experience," OSU coach Dick Weis said. "It allows us to get away together and see what's going on."
The Cowboys are coming off a win at the Wichita State Gold Classic on Sept. 5. Chuck Sloan won the 4-mile race in 19:56.00. It was the second time he's won the race.
OSU will compete against Rhode Island, Columbia, Iona, Connecticut College, St. Thomas Aquinas, Pace and Loyola.
The Cowboys come home to host the Cowboy Jamboree on Oct. 2 at the OSU Cross Country Course.
