Cowgirls Make Strong Showing on All-Conference Team

Leading the way for the Cowgirls was senior Linda Faltynkova. The Uhersky Brod, Czech Republic native, compiled a 10-10 singles record while competing at the No. 1 position.
Faltynkova broke into the national rankings at No. 122 with a series of Big 12 wins to close out the year. Over her four-year career she amassed a 69-23 record.
Faltynkova and junior Katya Kolodynska were announced to their second consecutive All Big 12 team. The No. 36 ranked tandem posted a 13-7 record at the No. 1 doubles position.
The combo finished the season by propelling OSU to its first Big 12 Title after clinching the doubles point in the semifinal and final matches. Over the past three seasons, the Cowgirl duo has compiled a 56-12 doubles record.
The OSU representatives for this years All-Conference team were also named as preseason All-Big 12 candidates.
