Equestrian Team Travels to Louisiana

Oklahoma State's Cowgirl equestrian team will travel to Baton Rouge, La. on Saturday to compete in the Louisiana State Hunt Seat show.

The show will begin at 9 a.m. It is the only show of the weekend for the Cowgirls.

Last weekend, the Oklahoma State Hunt Seat team traveled to the Tournament of Champions Hunt Seat Invitational. Jennifer Lynn led the Cowgirls by placing third in open fences. Allysa Allen placed fifth in intermediate fences, and Kelli Combs placed fifth in novice fences.

Kristen Dickerson placed sixth in the intermediate flat class. Katie Thomas placed fifth in the walk-trot-canter class, and Beth Brady placed fifth in the walk-trot class.

The Cowgirls will return home next weekend to host three western shows Feb. 9-11.
