April 03, 2003 | Cowgirl Equestrian
Oklahoma State's women's equestrian team will travel to Canyon, Texas this weekend to compete at the West Texas A&M show.
The show will consist of two western shows at the WTAMU Horse Center. The first show will be held at 9 a.m., and the second will follow at approximately 3 p.m.
"We are excited to try to gain the lead in the regional points totals," head coach Larry Sanchez said. "Hopefully, the girls will perform as well as they have been performing in practice. They've been practicing tough and consistent, and I hope it shows this weekend."
In their last western show, the Cowgirls and Texas A&M tied for second place behind host West Texas A&M.
In their next action, the Cowgirls will travel to College Station, Texas for the Texas A&M hunt seat and western shows Dec. 2-3.
