Spring 2002: Stephanie saw action in all but one contest last season, starting 51 times. She batted .244, going 33-for-135 at the plate. She scored 14 runs, had five doubles and two home runs. She also had a team-high 23 walks and a .364 on-base percentage. Stephanie had two stolen bases and a .988 fielding percentage, with five errors in 412 chances. Stephanie also earned second-team Academic All-Big 12 accolades.
Fall 2001: Stephanie appeared in four games and started four for the Cowgirls. She finished with a .200 batting average, with two hits in 10 at-bats. She scored two runs and had three runs batted in. Stephanie had one stolen base and a .333 on-base percentage. Stephanie was perfect from the field in 31 chances and was successful on her only stolen-base attempt.
Spring 2001: Stephanie started 48 games for the Cowgirls and played in 49. She hit .210, with 26 hits in 124 at-bats. She had nine runs scored, 12 runs batted in and a .342 on-base percentage. She had three doubles and two home runs leading to a .211 slugging percentage. She had seven errors in 359 chances, a .981 fielding percentage. Stephanie was named to the Academic All-Big 12 first-team.
Fall 2000: Stephanie played and started in 15 games for the Cowgirls, all at first base. She batted .382, going 13-for-34. She scored 12 runs, had seven runs batted in and three stolen bases. She had a triple and a home run, bumping her slugging percentage up to .529. She also had five walks, and a .462 on-base percentage. Stephanie had just two errors in 109 chances in the field, a .982 fielding percentage. She batted mostly in the five spot in the lineup.
Spring 2000: Stephanie appeared in 26 games and started 15 for the Cowgirls. She batted .231 in 52 plate appearances, and had two home runs. She scored 13 runs, had 10 runs batted in and a .346 slugging percentage. She had just two errors in 96 chances in the field, a .979 fielding percentage.
Fall 1999: Stephanie played and started in three games for the Cowgirls during the fall, and was hitless in six at-bats. She was involved in one double play in the field. Stephanie was a member of the Commissioners Honor roll for the fall of 99.
Prep: Stephanie was a three-year letterwinner for her father, Mike, at Victory Christian in Tulsa, Okla. She was the team captain two years. Stephanie was named honorable mention all-state and Most Valuable Player three times in 1997, 98 and 1999. She also played summer fastpitch for the Oklahoma Stealers out of Broken Arrow, Okla., and had a .356 batting average with 25 runs batted in, nine doubles, one home run and a .436 slugging percentage. Pitching, she had an 8-7 record with a 1.75 earned run average and 66 strikeouts in 84 innings pitched. Stephanie lettered two years in volleyball as well.
Personally: Born Aug. 3, 1981, Stephanie is the daughter of Mike and Sandy Hodges. She has a sister, Michelle (23), and a brother, David (18). Her sister graduated from OSU in May of 2002 and her mother will graduate in 2003. Stephanie is majoring in general business at Oklahoma State, and is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. She enjoys spending time with family and friends and watching ESPN in her spare time.
