Softball Set For Five-Game Homestand

STILLWATER, Okla. - Oklahoma State's softball team opens a five-game homestand on Wednesday against Wichita State. The Cowgirls will not hit the road again until next Tuesday when they travel to Wichita for the second half of the series.
After playing 20 of 23 games away from Cowgirl Stadium, Oklahoma State will finally get a chance to play on its home field, hosting the Shockers for a 6 p.m. contest on Wednesday.
The Cowgirls then take on New Mexico State on Friday in their final tune-up before conference play begins. The doubleheader is slated to begin at 3 p.m.
After one day of rest Oklahoma State kicks off league play, taking the field on Sunday to face Kansas at 2 p.m. The Jayhawks and Cowgirls will conclude the series on Monday at 5 p.m.
Oklahoma State (17-6) is coming off a 6-3 performance at the Speedline Invitational, capped by a five-game winning streak to capture the tournament title. Lauren Bay was named the tournament Most Valuable Player, while Ryan Realmuto and Megan Carey also earned all-tournament accolades.
