Member of the New Zealand Junior Track and Cross Country team in 1996, 1997, 1998 and 1999 ... Won the New Zealand Junior Men’s 1,500m, 3,000m, and 5,000m championship in 1999 ... Won the1,500m, 3,000m and 5,000m in Arafura Games ... Was open men’s champion in 1999 ... Was champion of the New Zealand Secondary Schools 1,500m and 2k steeplechase in 1998 ...
