Equestrian Completes Weekend at Texas A&M

In the first show Oklahoma State scored 33 points to finish ahead of West Texas A&M University taking first place honors. The Cowgirls placed first in the second show , with 39 points, finishing ahead of host-school Texas A&M. In the final show, the Cowgirls placed second behind Texas A&M with 30 points.
Four Cowgirls won multiple events over the weekend. Junior Lindsey Smith won twice in Novice Fences, while junior Corrie Janssen took home two first-place finishes in Open Flat. Senior Emily Hoaglan also won twice over the weekend. The Fort Gibson,Okla., native won in the Walk-Trot Canter.
Sophomore Maggie Engels rounded out the group of Cowgirls with multiple first-place finishes. Engles won twice in Novice Flat. Ten additional Cowgirls took home first-place finishes over the course of the weekend.
The Equestrian team will next be in action at home on Dec. 7-8.
