Spring 2002: Cami posted a 10-9 record in her first season at OSU, splitting time with Lauren Bay on the mound. She had a 1.60 earned run average and recorded two shutouts. Cami struck out 95 batters in 126-2/3 innings and gave up a .244 batting average to opposing hitters. She threw 10 complete games and earned the starting nod in 23 contests.
at Salt Lake City Community College: Cami lettered two years under coach Amy Hogue. She posted a 17-7 record, including 136 strikeouts. She also had a .362 batting average and a .517 slugging percentage. Cami was a two-time first team All-Region honoree and earned Most Valuable Player honors one year. She also led SLCC to a Conference Championship.
Prep: Cami lettered three years for coach Vaughn Alvey at Alta High School. She was named All-State and All-Region during her high school career. She also led her team to a State Championship title. In addition to softball, Cami played basketball for one year. She also played for the Utah Magic, a summer league team.
Personally: Born September 27, 1980, Cami is the daughter of Lynn and Melissa Carter. She has two sisters, Carly (21) and Caitlin (10), and two brothers, Clay (16) and Chase (14). Cami is majoring in education at Oklahoma State. She enjoys reading in her spare time.
