2002-03 (Redshirt): Julian redshirted his true freshman season at Oklahoma State.
High School: Julian lettered four years for coach Mark Leiberman at Pace High School in Miami. He was named second-team All-State in Class 3A his senior season. He averaged 18.8 points, seven assists, five rebounds and three steals per game his senior year. His team won the District 15 Championship, and went on to the state playoffs, where the Spartans lost to eventual state runnerup, Key West, 73-69, in a state semifinal game. During the course of the season, Julian hit a buzzer-beater layup to give Class 3A No. 10 Miami Pace a 71-69 win over Class 6A No. 5 Palm Beach Lakes. His junior season, Julian averaged 18 points and eight assists per game, as well as 5.5 rebounds per contest. He led the Spartans to a 30-5 record and the regional finals. He was named the MVP of the Junior Orange Bowl Tournament, and was first-team All-Dade County. Julian was ranked as the seventh-best overall player to come out of the state of Florida this season, and was the second-best point guard. He was also recruited by Clemson, Oklahoma, Arkansas, UAB, Central Florida, Auburn and Georgia.
Personal: Born Jan. 13, 1984, in Miami, Julian is the son of Judy and Cecil Richardson. He is majoring in broadcasting & journalism at Oklahoma State.
