COWGIRLS AT TULSA
Oklahoma State travels to Tulsa on Tuesday to face the Golden Hurricane in a rescheduled contest. The two teams were originally slated to meet as part of the annual Border War last week, but weather forced the event to be cancelled.
The Cowgirls moved into second place in the Big 12 race with a sweep of Missouri over the weekend. OSU run-ruled the Tigers 8-0 on Saturday but had to stage a late rally on Sunday to earn the 2-1 come-from-behind win.
Tulsa has won its last four WAC games after sweeping San Jose State and Fresno State last week. TU's pitching staff is to be picking up speed as five of its last seven wins have been shutouts.
SERIES WITH TULSA
Oklahoma State leads the series with Tulsa 17-3. The Cowgirls hold a 3-1
margin in Tulsa, but were blanked 3-0 in the last meeting hosted by the
Golden Hurricane. Earlier this year it took the Cowgirls 11 innings to put
away TU in Stillwater.
