COWGIRLS TAKE ON THE SHOCKERSS Oklahoma State heads to Kansas to face Wichita State in the second half of the annual series on Tuesday with a 10-game winning streak on the line. The Cowgirls and Shockers should still remember the last meeting as it took place less than one week ago in Stillwater. Oklahoma State's undefeated stretch is the longest since the 1995 team won 15 straight.
Oklahoma State opened conference play over the weekend, hosting Kansas for a pair of games on Sunday. The Cowgirls held on for a 2-1 win in 11 innings behind phenomenal pitching from Lauren Bay (23 Ks, 1 H) in the first game. OSU then won the second game 5-2 behind the duo of Bay and Sarah Seagraves.
Wichita State took three games from Drake at home, defeating the Bulldogs 4-2, 2-1 and 6-2. The Shockers have won 12 of their last 14, with their two losses coming to OSU and second-ranked Arizona.
